Vermilion Rugs Excelled in the test for wear on stairs.
In the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D119 test for creating surface appearance changes in Stair Tread and Noses from Foot Traffic, our rugs were given a 4.5 out of 5.0 Grade after 20,000 passes. This roughly simulates what the carpet would look like if a family of 4 used the stairs 4 times a day, every day for 5 years.
